Ecosystem Development and Community Organizing

  • Leadership Development

We encourage members of our ecosystem to grow as individuals, but with the goal of understanding cooperativism and the solidarity economy as a social and economic alternative.

  • Coffee Hours - Sharing in Community

CCDS offers a space every 6 -7 weeks for the ecosystem to continue growing, learning, and sharing. During these meetings, we check in on the ecosystem and we share the progress and challenges of the different members of the cooperatives.

  • Events and Gatherings

CCDS participates in community events to get involved in spaces where it can promote its resources, establish connections with the community, and bring ideas and strategies that benefit our cooperative ecosystem.

We attend the East Boston Farmer’s Market every year, which takes place between July and October. It is a space where the community can learn about  CCDS‘ work and the cooperatives that make-up our ecosystem attend to offer their products or services.

  • Coalitions and Collective Spaces

CCDS actively seeks to connect and cooperate with organizations that exist in the area that are aligned with our values and principles, looking for resources that can be shared among the organizations, and some of these are: PUEBLO Coalition, Solidarity Economy Initiative, and BICA.
